Yesterday, March 3, 2003, had to be one of the worst days in my life.

My 10-page political science paper was due on March 4. Like any respectable college student, I figured that 10 pages in one day was more than reasonable. So the weekend passed in unproductivity and Monday, March 3, 2003, the day I would write my paper, finally came. The moment I woke up, I felt massive amounts of thick phegm in my throat. Phlegm? Psshhh... Whatever... Well, as the day progressed, I started to feel a pounding in my head as the temperature of my forehead dramatically increased. Lo and behold, I had a fever. Sharp pangs pierced through the back of my head, and aside from my burning head, I had the chills. My body began to feel weak and my back and legs began to ache.

The thing is, I NEVER EVER get sick. Honestly, sometimes I really think that I'm immortal, and that the cure to all diseases is found in my blood. (It's cool because I'm learning about the immune system in my MCB class. I guess school does serve some purpose...) So, I was really surprised when I caught this bug, and of all days, on the day that I had to write my paper. Writing a 10-page paper in one day is bad enough, but writing one while your head is being beat up from the inside, now, that's a different story.

Anyways, it is now Tuesday, March 4, 2003, and I am still recovering... Don't worry. I'll be back to tear it up again!

On a side note, sleep truly has magical properties.
